Staffords On Stage Debuts the new Stageprompter Pro Series Solution

February 22, 2019

For almost a decade, the Stageprompter has been the go-to solution for covertly displaying lyrics and music to on stage performers and speakers.  The Wedge03 and Controller04 models are proven and trusted by artists worldwide.  Reliable, custom made electronic architecture and rugged construction has been proven to stand up to whatever the stage and road have in store for it.

Now, in addition to the performer-operated, self-contained solutions, Staffords On Stage is proud to announce their new Pro Series line of Stageprompters.  The Pro Series is driven by a central controller and can run multiple, 32” teleprompter screens, housed in wedge monitor style enclosures. Perfect for even the biggest of stages and performances.

“We’ve listened to our customers, many of whom have asked for a scalable solution that can be centrally controlled with multiple larger screens” says Paul Stafford, creator of the Stageprompter brand of products.  “The Pro Series hits the mark for those who want the flexibility of a custom system, but still want the professional look and reliability of a Stageprompter”

The Pro Controller01 is at the center of the Pro Series.  Built around the reliable Stageprompter architecture, the Controller01 can accept .jpg or .pdf images from a USB memory drive as well as an HDMI input from an external laptop or tablet.  This allows the user to display virtually anything, as well as the ability to perform live edits.  While the system can be operated from the stage area, there is an optional remote hand controller available as well as an operator monitor to enable control of the content from a remote location.  Outputting both power and CAT6, the Pro Controller01 can drive up to 4 monitors, and can be expanded if required.   The entire system boasts all Neutrik connectors and utilizes Neutrik PowerCON TRUE1 power sockets and cables to ensure everything runs without fail.

Each cabinet is manufactured and hand-finished with a tough textured coating.  They house a large ultra-bright, high definition 32-inch screen and can be uniquely positioned in a portrait or landscape orientation to give the artist the best prompting experience available.  Best of all, it appears to the audience like wedge audio monitor.

“Larger stages require a different solution, and we’re proud to offer the Pro Series to those who need it”, adds Stafford.  “We’re even more proud to support the thousands of customers who trust the Stageprompter brand of products to perform every day.”

Since 2008, Staffords on Stage, a Cambridge, UK based technology company has been designing and manufacturing covert lyric-prompting solutions. They provide a complete range of solutions and accessories including flight cases and other complimentary products.
